2011 is the seventh year of the Kerry Christmas Appeal, a Radio Kerry fundraising initiative.
Since its inception in 2005 the Appeal has raised in excess of €300,000 providing much needed help to disadvantaged families in County Kerry at Christmas. Over 2300 Christmas Food Hampers have been distributed to these families across the county by the Kerry St Vincent de Paul Network.
The 2 day live auction is the annual fundraising event for teh Kerry Christmas Appeal. The extraordinary generosity of the business community of Kerry and beyond who donate all the auction and the listeners who purchase the various lots make this auction possible. Our aim is too provide gret value shopping while raising funds for this fantastic cause.

Kerry top of Irish poverty list
For the past number of years Ireland has been experiencing a very deep recession. Many peole are finding themselves in financial difficulty, many of those people who would themselves previously have been the fundraisers and givers to the less well off.
This year we urge you to dig as deep as you can to help us raise funds to help put food in the homes of the less well off in our community at a time of the year which is about giving and taking care of those around us.
